About the tour:
- Mr. Carlo Lamprecht, State Councillor will lead the delegation
of State and City officials and Geneva Business leaders.
- Reservations have been made on the new direct flight
from Switzerland to San Francisco.
- Accommodation during the stay are at the Sheraton Palo
Alto, a premier hotel next to the Stanford University campus.
- The main goal is to intensify contacts with decision
makers of high-tech companies.
- Visits to high-tech companies such as Apple, Broadvision,
Cisco, Harmonic Lightwaves, Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, Silicon Graphics
have been scheduled.
- Dinners and other social events with local academic and
business leaders are also on the program.
